Proverbs 3:5-6

Proverbs 3:5-6 (Amplified) – Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. In all your ways know, recognize, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths.

Message – Trust God from the bottom of your heart; don’t try to figure out everything on your own. Listen for God’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; he’s the one who will keep you on track.

Trust – firm belief in the reliability, truth, ability, or strength of someone or something.

Lord, I have a firm belief, confidence, assurance, and certainty of your reliability, ability and strength. I cant see what you can see and my knowledge is very limited, so I don’t rely on my own insight and understanding. I can’t figure it all out on my own, and I wasn’t designed to.

If I limit myself to my own understanding, I am limited to myself and miss out on plans you have that are bigger than anything that I can think on my own. Lord I want to live in the superabundant, far over and above all that I dare ask or think infinitely beyond my highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes and dreams kind of life you have planned for me.

Since me living the kind of life is limited according to the power that is at work in me, I need to make sure your power is at work in me to the greatest degree. I do this by trusting in you and not in myself. I do this by putting aside my own thoughts and perceptions and accepting yours. I do this by letting you fill me to the top and overflowing.
