Prayer Strategy
So many people are deceived, shouting out their opinions, not looking at the fruit produced by their words – even those who say they know God. They take the side that bears fruit which leads to disorder and every evil thing rather than the side that bears fruit which pure, reasonable, peaceable, gentle, and full of mercy and good fruits. The fruit makes the source obvious.
I pray that we are no longer like children, tossed here and there by the waves and carried about by every wind of thought, ideas created by the trickery of men, by craftiness in deceitful scheming.
This is the world in these days. The devil has them so deceived that they believe anything contrary to the truth – and claim it is the truth.
The deceiving leaders are accusing those taking God’s side, those on the right side, of doing the very things they themselves are doing – and so many people are falling for these lies. They can’t see clearly. Their eyes are clouded; their minds are blinded so that they can’t discern the truth.
What is the cure: SPEAKING THE TRUTH IN LOVE!!!!!
I speak the truth in prayer, declaring in prayer the words He gives me. I clear the air around me which is full of disorder and every evil thing, filling it instead with truth and the fruits of righteousness.
I also speak the truth in love to those in my sphere in hopes that they may come to their senses and escape out of the snare of the devil where they have been held captive by him. I correct my opponents with courtesy and gentleness in the hope that God may grant that they will repent and come to know the truth.
I pray that the lies are uncovered, that the blinders are taken off of people’s eyes so that they can see in time to stop the evil that is pressing into our land.
God give us your wisdom rather than the wisdom of the world, the fruits of which are obvious – full of jealousy and strive and selfish ambition, arrogance and lies against the truth, the world’s wisdom, which is earthy natural, and demonic.
Give us the instead wisdom from above which is pure, peaceable, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, unwavering without hypocrisy to replace the wisdom of the world. For where jealously, strife and selfish ambition exist, there is disorder and every evil thing.
Give us your wisdom, you who give to all generously and without reproach, that we are no longer doubting, driven and tossed by the wind, carried about by every wind by the trickery of men in their craftiness and deceitful scheming.
Lord, I pray that you may grant your people a spirit of wisdom and revelation into the true knowledge of you and the ways of your kingdom, that our eyes be flooded with light so that we can know and understand the hope to which we are called, and the richness of the glorious inheritance, who we really are and what we are supposed to do as heirs of God revealing the glories of your kingdom.
Bring instead of the winds of lies and deception, disorder and every evil thing, the winds of truth, blowing away the lies and evil with peace and the cleanness of your truth, your wisdom which is full of the good fruits of mercy, compassion, gentleness and kindness.
Based on these scriptures (Classic Amplified)
Ephesians 4:13-15 (AMP) [That it might develop] until we all attain oneness in the faith and in the comprehension of the [full and accurate] knowledge of the Son of God, that [we might arrive] at really mature manhood (the completeness of personality which is nothing less than the standard height of Christ’s own perfection), the measure of the stature of the fullness of the Christ and the completeness found in Him. So then, we may no longer be children, tossed [like ships] to and fro between chance gusts of teaching and wavering with every changing wind of doctrine, [the prey of] the cunning and cleverness of unscrupulous men, [gamblers engaged] in every shifting form of trickery in inventing errors to mislead. Rather, let our lives lovingly express truth [in all things, speaking truly, dealing truly, living truly]. Enfolded in love, let us grow up in every way and in all things into Him Who is the Head, [even] Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One).
James 1:5-8 (AMP) If any of you is deficient in wisdom, let him ask of the giving God [Who gives] to everyone liberally and ungrudgingly, without reproaching or faultfinding, and it will be given him. Only it must be in faith that he asks with no wavering (no hesitating, no doubting). For the one who wavers (hesitates, doubts) is like the billowing surge out at sea that is blown hither and thither and tossed by the wind. For truly, let not such a person imagine that he will receive anything [he asks for] from the Lord, [For being as he is] a man of two minds (hesitating, dubious, irresolute), [he is] unstable and unreliable and uncertain about everything [he thinks, feels, decides].
James 3:11-18 (AMP) Does a fountain send forth [simultaneously] from the same opening fresh water and bitter? Can a fig tree, my brethren, bear olives, or a grapevine figs? Neither can a salt spring furnish fresh water. Who is there among you who is wise and intelligent? Then let him by his noble living show forth his [good] works with the [unobtrusive] humility [which is the proper attribute] of true wisdom. But if you have bitter jealousy (envy) and contention (rivalry, selfish ambition) in your hearts, do not pride yourselves on it and thus be in defiance of and false to the Truth. This [superficial] wisdom is not such as comes down from above, but is earthly, unspiritual (animal), even devilish (demoniacal). For wherever there is jealousy (envy) and contention (rivalry and selfish ambition), there will also be confusion (unrest, disharmony, rebellion) and all sorts of evil and vile practices. But the wisdom from above is first of all pure (undefiled); then it is peace-loving, courteous (considerate, gentle). [It is willing to] yield to reason, full of compassion and good fruits; it is wholehearted and straightforward, impartial and unfeigned (free from doubts, wavering, and insincerity). And the harvest of righteousness (of conformity to God’s will in thought and deed) is [the fruit of the seed] sown in peace by those who work for and make peace [in themselves and in others, that peace which means concord, agreement, and harmony between individuals, with undisturbedness, in a peaceful mind free from fears and agitating passions and moral conflicts].
2 Timothy 2:24-26 (AMP) And the servant of the Lord must not be quarrelsome (fighting and contending). Instead, he must be kindly to everyone and mild-tempered [preserving the bond of peace]; he must be a skilled and suitable teacher, patient and forbearing and willing to suffer wrong. He must correct his opponents with courtesy and gentleness, in the hope that God may grant that they will repent and come to know the Truth [that they will perceive and recognize and become accurately acquainted with and acknowledge it], And that they may come to their senses [and] escape out of the snare of the devil, having been held captive by him, [henceforth] to do His [God’s] will.
Ephesians 1:17-18 (AMP) [For I always pray to] the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, that He may grant you a spirit of wisdom and revelation [of insight into mysteries and secrets] in the [deep and intimate] knowledge of Him, By having the eyes of your heart flooded with light, so that you can know and understand the hope to which He has called you, and how rich is His glorious inheritance in the saints (His set-apart ones),
Amen
