Guidance Confessions

John 10:4-5, 10-11 – And when he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them; and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice. Yet they will by no means follow a stranger, but will flee from him, for they do not know the voice of strangers. The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep.

2 Corinthians 2:14 – Thanks be to God who in Christ always leads us in triumph and through us spreads and makes evident the fragrance of the knowledge of God everywhere

Psalm 23:1-3 – The Lord is my shepherd and guide…He leads me beside the still and restful waters.  He refreshes and restores my life and soul.  He leads me in the paths of righteousness… -.

Psalm 16:11 – You will show me the path of life; in your presence is fullness of joy…

Isaiah 30:15 – For thus the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel, has said, in returning and rest you will be saved, in quietness and trust is your strength.  But you were not willing.

Isaiah 48:17-18 – Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: I am the Lord your God, Who teaches you to profit, Who leads you by the way you should go. Oh, that you had heeded My commandments! Then your peace would have been like a river, And your righteousness like the waves of the sea.

Isaiah 1:19-20 – If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land; but if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured by the sword; for the mouth of the Lord has spoken.

Psalm 32:8, 10 – The Lord will instruct me and teach me in the way I should go; He will counsel me with His eye upon me. When I trust in Him, I am compassed about with mercy and with loving-kindness.

Psalm 25:4-5, 8-10, 12-13 – Show me your ways oh Lord.  Teach me your paths.  Guide me in your truth and faithfulness and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation.  For you do I seek all the day long. God and upright is the Lord; therefore will He instruct sinners in his way.  He leads the humble in what is right and the humble He teaches His way.  All the paths of the Lord are mercy and steadfast love, truth and faithfulness, for those who keep His covenant. Who is the man who fears the Lord?  Him will He teach in the way that He should choose.  He himself shall dwell at ease, and his offspring shall inherit the land.

Confessions based on the above Scriptures:

Lord, you are my Good Shepherd.  I hear Your voice and know Your voice and follow You.  You lead me into abundant life. I will enjoy this wonderful life because I follow You.

You are my shepherd and my guide.  You lead me beside still and restful waters.  You refresh and restore my life and soul.  You lead me in the paths of righteousness.  You show me the path of life, and in your presence is fullness of joy.

Thank you Lord that you always lead me in triumph and you spread through me and make evident the fragrance of the knowledge of God everywhere I go.

I come near to you and listen and take heed to what you say. You lead me by the way I should go. Therefore I live in peace and prosperity and eat the good of the land.

You instruct and teach me in the way I should go.  You counsel me with your eye on me. I trust in you, and I am compassed about with mercy and loving-kindness.

Lord, I listen to what you are saying to me and walk in the way You are leading me, so You will speedily subdue my enemies and turn Your hand against my adversaries.

Lord, you show me your ways and teach me your paths.  You guide me in truth and faithfulness.  You are the God of my salvation.  You instruct me in your way and lead me in what is right and teach me YOUR way. The paths you lead me in are mercy, love, truth and faithfulness.  I myself shall dwell at ease and my offspring shall inherit the earth.
