Why An I Not Healed?

Rejoice – to Victory!

Times of trouble:

Habakkuk 3:17 – Though the fig tree does not blossom and there is no fruit on the vine, though the produce of the olive fails and the fields yield no food, through the flock is cut off form the fold and there are no cattle in the stall…

This is speaking of a time when all kinds of things are going wrong.  Here are some other verses speaking of the same.

James 1:2 – When you encounter all kinds of trials.

Psalm 27:2-3, 5-6 – The day of trouble, when war rises against me.

Ephesians 6:13 – The evil day, when things are at their worst.

Psalm 50:15 – Day of trouble.

What we are to do:

Habakkuk 3:18 – Yet I will rejoice in the Lord.  I will exult in the God of my salvation.  The Lord God is my strength, my invincible army; He makes my feet like hind’s feet and will make me to walk and make progress upon my high places.

James 1:2 – Count it all joy.

Psalm 27 – Be confident, seek the Lord, offer sacrifices of joy, sing.

Psalm 27:13-14 – Believe to see the goodness of the Lord; wait for the Lord.  Expect Him.  Be brave and of good courage.

Ephesians 6:11-13, 16 – With His armor on, we will be able to stand against any scheme of the devil and to resist in the evil day.  We can quench every fiery dart the enemy sends our way, every trial we encounter.

Ephesians 6:10 – Stand, equipped in God’s armor and strength.  It is His battle.  He provides the armor.  We win in His strength alone.

Exodus 14:13-14 – Do not be afraid.  Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today.  The Egyptians you see today you will never see again.  The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.

2 Chronicles 20:15, 17 – …Do not fear or be dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours but God’s…You will not need to fight in this battle.  Position yourselves, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, who is with you…

Deuteronomy 20:4 – …for the LORD your God is He who goes with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.’

1 Samuel 17:47 – Then all this assembly shall know that the Lord does not save with sword and spear; for the battle is the Lord’s, and He will give you into our hands.

Psalm 18:39 – For you have armed me with strength for the battle; you have subdued under me those who rose up against me.

Psalm 24:8 – Who is this king of glory?  The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle.

Psalm 144:1 – Blessed be the Lord my Rock, who trains my hands for war and my fingers for battle…

Hebrews 11:34 – Through faith…out of weakness be made strong, become valiant in battle, turn to flight the armies of the enemy…

Psalm 91:5 – Don’t be afraid.

Psalm 112:7-8 – He will not be afraid of evil tidings; His heart is steadfast, trusting in the Lord.  His heart is established; He will not be afraid, until he sees his desire upon his enemies.

Deuteronomy 20:1-4 – When you go out to battle against your enemies, and see horses and chariots and people more numerous than you, do not be afraid of them; for the LORD your God is with you, who brought you up from the land of Egypt.  So it shall be, when you are on the verge of battle, that the priest shall approach and speak to the people.  And he shall say to them, ‘Hear, O Israel: Today you are on the verge of battle with your enemies.  Do not let your heart faint, do not be afraid, and do not tremble or be terrified because of them;  for the LORD your God is He who goes with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.’

Psalm 50:15 – Call upon the Lord.  He will deliver.

If the joy of the Lord is my strength, one way to be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might is to rejoice!
