Results of long-term seeking I have experienced
Many times when I was seeking the solution to something major or something that took a while to get the answer, or to change a deep seated problem within me, I sought the Lord until He came, and He came with such power and anointing that I was completely changed. There have been, oh so many times, when I felt His presence so strongly I could hardly move. I asked Him to prove from Scripture that what I was experiencing was of Him. He didn’t answer immediately, but here are some things He taught me through the years to explain what was happening to me.
The anointing breaks the yoke.
Isaiah 10:27 – And it shall come to pass in that day that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.
2 Corinthians 3:17-18 – Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty – emancipation from bondage, freedom. And all of us as with unveiled face, (because we) continued to behold as in a mirror the glory of the Lord are constantly being transfigured into His very own image in ever increasing splendor and from one degree of glory to another: (for this comes) from the Lord (who is) the Spirit.
Habakkuk 3:1-4 – The prayer of Habakkuk the prophet set to wild and enthusiastic and triumphal music. Oh, Lord, I have heard report of you and was afraid… God came… and His glory covered the heavens and the earth was full of His praise. And His brightness was like the sunlight; rays streamed from His hand; and there (in the sun-like splendor) was the hiding place of His power.
Malachi 4:2 – … to those who fear His name: the sun of righteousness shall arise with healing in His wings and His beams and you shall go forth and gambol (frisk, skip about in play) like calves released from the stall and leap for joy.
Isaiah 40:31 – But those who wait for the Lord – who expect, look for and hope in Him – shall change and renew their strength and power; they shall lift their wings and mount up (close to God) as eagles (mount up to the sun): they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint or become tired.
